Hope you are safe and well during these challenging times.

As you are well aware, Dan’s statement on Sunday did not bring us what we thought it would.

We have received the latest updates with directives for Covid 19 – Step 2 which takes effect from Monday 14 September.

Groups of more than two are permitted as long as all players are from no more than two households.

This means that two people from one household can play with two people from another household.

To date, there have been no further changes to allow competitions, use of putting green, hire of sticks and carts, club house opening and gatherings, so the rules under Stage 3 remain the same.



It has been drawn to our attention last Saturday that Masks were not being worn by all golfers.

It is a Government directive that Masks MUST be worn outdoors, unless you have an exemption.

To date the Club is aware that only one exemption has been given.

If you do not wish to wear a Mask, you will be unable to play golf at Kialla Golf Club until further notice.



Barry has set the new fire trailer up for its dual purpose role of firefighting and tree watering.

As the warmer weather approaches, it will be necessary to commence the watering program.

For greater efficiency 3 workers will be required at a time.

A roster to be prepared when we are inundated with offers.



Under the current restrictions it is unlikely that the AGM will be held on 9 November 2020.

Our Constitution states the AGM must be held within 5 months of the end of the financial year, i.e. 30/6/20.

The Roadmap to Recovery sets out at date of 28 November for hopefully normality to return, so the AGM could be held early in December, but today we received correspondence from Consumer Affairs who will grant a 3 month extension.
